About Rhema Christian Center - Roseville,CA

Elder Gary C. Johns is the Pastor and Founder of the Rhema Christian Center in Roseville, Ca. He worked as a Program Manager in HR for the Hewlett Packard Company in Roseville, Ca for 30 years. Before beginning the ministry of the church; Eld. Johns served as an Assistant Pastor at Christ Temple Community Church in Yuba City under the late Dist. Eld. Major Terry for over ten years. He served faithfully at Christ Temple for 28 years. He received the Holy Ghost in the month of October in 1976. With the help of the Holy Ghost he has been faithful to God ever since.

 

Elder Johns has a B.A. in Government from California State University. Sacramento and a M.A. in Public Administration from Golden Gate University. He has taught Political Science for Chapman University at Beale AFB and currently he is an instructor at the Greater Grace School of Ministry in Sacramento, Ca. He has taught several leadership and ministers workshop/seminars and annually host a Ministerial Conference for young ministers. He has a heart to see young ministers live holy, become powerful and effective in teaching and preaching the Word of God.

 

Elder Johns is an ordained minister with the PAW and currently serve on the Program Coordinator Team for the Northern Region of the California District Council. He is the CDC-District #5 Administrator serving under Dist. Elder Charles A. Warner Eld. Johns has held many other positions within the California District Council.

Elder. Johns started the Ministry of Encouragement a project whose purpose is to minister to widows monthly through cards and letters. The Lord has blessed this ministry to grow statewide over the past few years.

 

Elder Johns opened the doors of Rhema Christian Center on Sunday, June 6, 2004. Beginning with only 2 members; (His lovely wife Sis. Judy and daughter Sis. Twyla Johns) the Lord has blessed Rhema Christian Center to grow.

Elder Johns is married to Sis. Judy Johns and they have two children and five grandchildren.

 

His main goal: To see God's people receive all that God has for them.
